Conductor Jennaya Robison joins composer-pianist Kyle Pederson to explore themes of darkness and light, hope and community through Kyle’s transformative choral music alongside Jordan Langworthy conducting works including Emmy- and Grammy-nominated composer Jake Runestad and Grammy-winning artist Jacob Collier. Conductor Stephen Martin rounds out the concert with the Memorial Drive United Methodist Church Choir and Orchestra performing Heather Sorenson’s deeply moving Requiem, commissioned in honor of those lost during COVID to bring hope and healing to all who have experienced loss.
